Life is arriving at the Halifax Public Gardens but only just.
Some flowers have been newly planted, some flowers have bloomed, the grass is lush, and everything is ready to go. But the Public Gardens is nowhere near it’s prime in May. The trees are still bare, many flower beds are empty, and the space is near silent.
I feel like my visit misses the mark by about a month but I’ll glad to have gone. It’s beautiful and peaceful and a lovely spot to spend time in Halifax.
